Too bad you weren’t, like, Speaker of the House or something so that you could’ve done something about that.
Ensuring every American has a roof overhead is a value that unites the Democratic Party. That's why I led a relentless campaign to extend the CDC eviction moratorium. In an act of pure cruelty, Republicans blocked this measure — leaving children and families out on the streets.

The most important thing Americans can do is quit idealizing wealth and the wealthy remember the 1 pc doesn’t care about normal humans for the most part; why put them in senate to represent people who they couldn’t be farther removed from

@SpeakerPelosi could house a few dozen Americans in one of her large and comfortable multiple residences. I think it would be a good move. She should also call @nycmayor (Democrat) and tell him #HousingNotShelters is what Dems are supposed to stand for

All these politicians care more about the politics than the people.

It’s not in her class interests to extend the moratorium. Plus Dems figure they’ll keep their voters regardless of how much they fail in delivering tangible results.

She's Speaker of the House, a legislative body where majority votes are required, not the Queen. No one can legally be evicted immediately, anywhere in the US. The Democrats funneled billions of dollars to state & local governments for rental assistance. Most states are helping.
