$15/hr minimum wage, UBI, free college, canceling college loan debt & Medicare For All: they’re not government handouts; they’re economic justice. It’s government’s job to provide the average person with a fair shot at making it in what has become an economically merciless world.

It's not about economic justice for *average* people; it's about economic justice for everyone. Plenty of "above average" people don't have big incomes and too many "below average" people have big fat incomes.

Just allow discharging student loan debts in bankruptcy....would require lenders and colleges to clean up their own mess

It seems unlikely that the federal government is ever going to do most of these things because it’s impossible for a nation of 330 million people to come to agreement on how to accomplish them. One alternative is to devote our energy to local efforts on a more human scale.

Correct. Do the work Biden & the Dems. We voted you in to do the work as our public servants. Do the work...time is running out.

UBI was tired in Finland, it didn't work. We have free univ and education and still,1) students take out gvt backed loans, and student debt in Finland is a huge problem. We have all that supposed FREE stuff you're talking about, but it is not free.

When someone falls, you hold your hand out -- to help them up. That's what kind of hand outs those policies are.
