I have a picture in my head of the pied piper, folks merrily following him to their demise. It’s hard to watch and hard to know what to do.

Run for office yourself, giving particular focus to local and state races, or get deeply involved in supporting progressives running in next year’s midterms. candidatesummit.com

Truth is, I see arrogance/blindness on all political sides. A lack of curiosity abt each other. My activism, environment concerns, human concerns has now led me to a place-not of despair-but of quiet. Don’t know what the answers are yet but I’m listening. Thank you for all.
Easier said than done when many local offices are intentionally structured to keep anyone not independently wealthy from running. Paying $100/year, $15,000/year... impossibly-low wages meaning anyone not rich will need to work multiple jobs and be an ineffective officeholder.
