As Jimmy Dore pointed out, there are people making six figures "trying to figure it out." Even homelessness has an industry of wealthy parasites leeching off the poor.

There are many ways the homelessness problem is not being solved - and many many people behind on rent for reasons that don't pull at your heartstrings like this one- also many people have serious financial concerns that couldn't qualify to even apply for help, let alone recv it.

But more cities are making homelessness illegal, so that should fix it. 🙄

I dont think for one second our old out of touch president gives a flying fuck either. The guy grew up in a time where a summer job afforded you a brand new car at the end of summer, and a house cost 25k. Since then he has be insulated by wealth to believe that's still all true.

LA’s budget for taking care of homelessness is over $1B. They’re paying bureaucrats a lot of money, multiple six figures, to “fix” homelessness. They don’t want to fix it because then they lose their paycheck. This is a problem with MANY govt programs.
