Conservatives are genetically dumb and resist change because their feeble minds don't get it. The GOP takes advantage of that stupidity and, through propaganda, manipulates said feeble minds into voting for them. GOP then supports the rich and corporate America instead.

Progressive candidates used progressiveness to get in and then went and toad the party line. They're sell outs.

The Democratic Party has tlilted right for many years to appease their corporate donors. For all intents and purposes, without the Progressives, the Democratic Party acts like the left wing of the Republican Party.

The left is self imploding. It reacted against authoritarianism by creating its own variety, via medical tyranny. We have a president who now says people who do not want a shot are murderers and stupid. Meanwhile it is NOT FDA approved and the VAERS data is disturbing.
