“Rather than insisting on “Medicare for All” - Sanders’ trademark universal, government-funded health care plan -or the climate-change-fighting Green New Deal, Our Revolution is focusing on the more modest alternatives endorsed by President Joe Biden.” 🤦🏻‍♀️ apnews.com/article/joe-biden…

Remember when they tweeted #NoMiddleGround in response to Joe telling donors that he’d do a middle ground approach?

Brilliant strategy. Concede that M4A won’t succeed in this Congress. Vocally support the incrementalism that doesn’t frighten centrists while still organizing on the ground for progressives. It means ignoring the nattering nabobs of negativism that permeates the online left.

Same goes for every nat'l nonprofit (NNU, People's Action, Healthcare NOW, Public Citizen) I worked with as a single-payer activist over the last 5 yrs. All gave up M4A just as soon as Dems took power in the middle of a pandemic but boy they fought their hearts out during Trump

Clickbait article. Nobody's renouncing M4A. Biden won so he sets the agenda. The point is to gain some inches with him until the next battle

That’s millions of people who’d probably like nothing more than be asked by a trusted leader to do direct action or #GeneralStrike. If those leaders made the ask, the action would feel legit & ppl would trust 1-another to do it knowing they wouldn’t be alone.

We live in a world where watching our society and habitat die in slow motion is “pragmatic” 😭

Can someone please explain to me why any group of rational adults would spend more than 1 minute considering climate action that has indisputably negligibly tiny effect on temperature at crippling cost, when there are so many worthy causes to spend trillions on? Surprising facts:
