These people have no idea the level of frustration and despair that’s out there, that they’re refusing to address with their neoliberal nonsense. Their consistent display of callousness is a losing strategy for 2022.

Pelosi also questioned the policy wisdom of cancelling student loan debt: “Suppose…your child just decided they, at this time, [do] not want to go to college but you’re paying taxes to forgive somebody else’s obligations. You may not be happy about that."

I am not for full pardon of college debt. I am all for aid towards those struggling to pay. I paid my loans, and I am on my way to get another one for my Masters. It can be done. There is a lot of sacrifice in the process, but it can be done.

I absolutely will not vote Dem in 2022 if they don’t cancel student debt AND extend the payment moratorium.

They have their marching orders. To try to argue with what they say to justify it, has no impact.

Many of us know that Nancy knows the actual truth about the fraud of student loans + extreme cost of college cos she helped make banks/loan industry filthy rich and they gave her $ in return. We gotta start speaking this truth: Nancy knows full well how people hurt.

Critique alone won’t bring down powerful officeholders, but— having won more votes against Pelosi in 2020 than any previous challenge—we offer San Francisco a more committed voice in Congress.

Marianne, again, how can you oppose neoliberalism but not oppose capitalism? Why not join us in fighting for an alternative to capitalism?
