You don’t have to be anti-capitalist to recognize that global capitalism has been weaponized, used too often as a tool by which to subjugate the poor. As many lives as it has lifted out of poverty it has thrown into despair.

Isn’t the design of the system literally “extract all possible value from the labor of the working class”? Hard to describe a cruise missile as “weaponized” when it does the only thing it can do

Replying to @cromas
No, actually. That’s like saying traffic is inherently dangerous. There are traffic laws for a reason.

This is moderate liberal thinking (promoting Order instead of Justice) that thwarts all real and meaningful change in America.

Traffic isn’t designed to kill people. Capitalism IS designed to exploit and oppress.

Marianne, the part you don't seem to understand about capitalism is that one way or another, it will always find a way to buy off the lawmakers. It simply refuses to be regulated for long. This is why we're back at the same wealth disparity we had in the Gilded Age.

Climate disasters is effecting our dam traffic commutes to work to pay bills we all can't bloody afford & with climate devastation to add to it as more expenses as our newest burden besides viral pandemic
There are no rules because the ruling class bought and own the government. Thus enabling them to rig the “rules” in their favor. Every form of Capitalism will always end this way. It’s by design.

Traffic IS inherently dangerous though. That's why you need a license. The car free movement exists for a reason
