Even Adam Smith said “free market capitalism cannot exist outside an ethical context.” What is amoral leads to immoral consequences. What is called the free market today - soulless and unethical - too often means freedom for far too few at the expense of freedom for far too many.

There is no freedom in capitalism.

There is no such thing as ethical capitalism, as capitalism only exists when those who hold capital do what they can to generate profits, and there is no such thing as profit in capitalism without exploitation.

Amoral political parties that are soulless, unethical and require immoral actions from its members are the biggest problem in America. Both parties are rotten at their core yet politicians keep pointing to the symptoms rather than the cancer.

"free market capitalism" and "morality" are antithetical. Capitalism gives zero weight to ethical decisions, hence America's spiral into the wasteland of money-hoarding billionaire astronauts.

Plutocracy is the intended endgame of capitalism. The real egalitarian was Thomas Paine who was ostracized and died penniless...nobody even knows where his bones were laid.
