You don’t have to be anti-capitalist to recognize that global capitalism has been weaponized, used too often as a tool by which to subjugate the poor. As many lives as it has lifted out of poverty it has thrown into despair.

I “Vote” with my consumer dollar as a tool to subjugate the rich LOL: I.e. In a free capitalist society it is my choice to boycott fox advertisers!

i'm not sure that it's considered "weaponizing" something if it is doing the only thing it is capable of doing

Who has it lifted out of poverty?

The US began as a grift for grifters. England didn’t want to fund westward expansion, but Washington wanted to expand his real estate empire by taking land from natives. So the Revolution manifested from greed by plutocrat wanna-be’s repudiating aristocracy that excluded them.

Capitalism: the rich get richer and the poor get poorer Also wtf does adding “global” in front of capitalism even do?? Somehow domestic capitalism doesn’t oppress the poor?? I bet you anything capitalism has brought despair to WAY more people than it has brought out of poverty

That’s like trying to bring a wild animal into your home and trying to control it with a leash. Maybe you can avoid harm but everyone else gets attacked. Then you sit there feeling superior that you tamed it.
