You don’t have to be anti-capitalist to recognize that global capitalism has been weaponized, used too often as a tool by which to subjugate the poor. As many lives as it has lifted out of poverty it has thrown into despair.

Marianne capitalism has always like this. Where do you think it came from? From feudalism, witch hunts, colonialism, enclosure, plagues, and hundred-year-long wars. Those are the origins of capitalism.

The problems always seem to be more the ists than the isms I'm not saying capitalism is ideal, the best or even a good economic system, but judging it on the US implementation is like judging communism under Stalin

You don’t have to be anti-capitalist but it’s highly recommended

China is lifting people out of Poverty all over the world, and continues to invite the United States to join it in this effort.

how can you acknowledge the inherent evils of capitalism and NOT be anti-capitalist?

I’m not “anti-capitalist” BUT simple logic tells me that the very idea of a true “economy” is that it’s economical. In other words, efficiently meeting human needs. Capitalism depends on waste for survival. Durable products that eliminate need will destroy our (anti) economy 🤔

True. But if he question remains. “How do WE change this by bitching into the void, waiting for the “capitalists” to just magically give up power and privilege?” True reform/restructuring is going to require new “isms”. Real effort on EVERYONE’S part. Is that even possible?

I appreciate you very much, that being said. Capitalism can be distilled down to one anecdote: the forest has no worth under capitalism until it is cut down. The system is working exactly as it was designed.
