You don’t have to be anti-capitalist to recognize that global capitalism has been weaponized, used too often as a tool by which to subjugate the poor. As many lives as it has lifted out of poverty it has thrown into despair.

Being anti-capitalist is the inevitable result of realizing how cruel and awful capitalism is. You sound like a cheerleader for Wall Street, Marianne, I expected better. Socialism lifts EVERYONE out of poverty.

Capitalism produces Drug kingpins and homeless addicts. It also creates productive factories and middle class laborers and designers. Labor is essential to productivity. When productivity collapses, everybody is poor. Capitalism is the worst possible system, except all the rest.
