Why would we add $25B to an already $763B defense budget in order to “defend our country” but not pass voting rights legislation to defend our democracy? The greatest threat to our democracy - and it is not a small threat - is voter suppression and voter nullification.

The same people not wanting to defend voting rights spend 100% of their energy defending gun rights. They are selective in which Constitutional rights are worth defending.

Give the Defense Dept a Federal Vote Counting Contract where they get to collect "x" amount of money for every recorded vote. Problem solved
I believe it's pretty obvious. Freedom! I mean Democracy!

See, I would have gone with healthcare. $25bn for implemntation of national healthcare service, where the people employ the doctors, dentists and other healthcare providers, drug companies, etc. We own the facilities too. Then in exchange for a salary, they provide care to all.

Because that line has continued to work thru the ages on the insecure masses. Its a nice way of saying pumping up armed forces & using them on the world is USA priority & the American people think that is sane.
And oddly not one person in DC asked, “How you going to pay for that.” Let’s pay for #MedicareForAll the same way. @SpeakerPelosi @SenSchumer @POTUS

There is no democracy, the fight is to restore it and that will not be accomplished by voting.
