This could create some energy…. Lots of young women going “Wait wut?” …Many might become more interested in asking serious questions about our involvements overseas.

Ah, the sound of far-right manipulation? If you can get countries to do what you are already doing, it appears NATURAL: Then you can try to conceal your intent.

Do men still have to do that?? Damn, this was one of the arguments women made against the ERA in the 1970s. Still don’t have the ERA and we’ll have to get drafted anyway?

I feel conscription is wrong. And yet, it was the draft in the Vietnam era that made it impossible for young Americans to ignore the war. When more of us felt exposed, we took it personally. Most Americans today have been able to ignore our never ending wars.

No privacy (right to abortion). No equal pay. More assaults and sexual harassment. But sure, let's draft women 🙄🙄🙄 I am all for equal rights and duties, but we haven't gotten our equal rights just yet.

We have been at war since my children have been alive- they are now 25 and 21. They have NEVER known a day when the US wasn't at war. My husband and I remember very vividly when we entered "Operation: Desert Storm" and that was a profound impact on our lives, come to find out.
