The question isn’t just what to do about homelessness, the ? is why are so many people homeless. The question isn’t just what to do about healthcare, the ? is why are so many people sick. The question isn’t just what to do about climate change, the ? is why we let it get this bad

Answers to your questions: 1. Homelessness is directly tied to drug abuse. We are addressing the wrong issue. 2. The world today has the best healthcare system in its history, and getting better. 3. Everything on earth moves in rhythms… the tide, the seasons, the climate.

How is it possible you don't know what everyone else does, it's the fucking drugs.

In my experience, which is actually extensive, most homeless individuals would rather score drugs and remain houseless then clean up and find clinics oh and shelters that would take them. It’s easy to give a statement from the comfort of your home, you out of touch politician.

I can answer that second one: more people are sick because we're better at identifying their illness and accepting that it is, indeed, an illness. It isn't anything unique to our times, it is just unique to our recent willingness to recognize it.
