We should all adopt this distinction. He’s totally correct.
It’s not “private” healthcare - let’s call it what it is. It’s corporate healthcare. And it’s exactly why the United States has one of the worst healthcare systems despite spending more on healthcare than any other country. #MedicareForAll

Grass is not greener Marianne. In Canada they have long waiting lines for many things, it's why some Canadians cross the border to see American doctors. We had govt run healthcare in the VA, it didn't work well. People died on waiting lists.

I will freely admit USA does not have the best healthcare system in the world, but it is complete lunacy to think we have one of the worst in the world (out of 195 countries and Vatican City). worldpopulationreview.com/co…

US spends a lot of money on healthcare and not enough money on preventive care, but the total expenditure on healthcare is very misleading because it includes cosmetic surgery and elective procedures which is more than the rest of the world. worldatlas.com/articles/the-…

Our healthcare is better than most countries, and is much better quality than most EU countries. Add in medical innovation from the states and its pretty good. The problem is that 10-15% of people that can't afford it. Not the quality. Seems an easy fix to cover that group.
