A child born in the poorest neighborhood has the same God-given potential as a child born in the richest neighborhood. I believe God would have us treat them that way.

Meritocracy cannot exist within a true capitalist system like ours. We have the proverbial lottery winners who get out of their born class, but for the most part the American dream is dead.

Stress, malnutrition, and environmental factors already disadvantage the fetus growing in the poorest neighborhood. I believe God would want us to do more for them.
