Maybe most importantly, the Murphy/Lee/Sanders bill puts a stop to endless war. If our legislation passes, every war authorization must sunset after two years, forcing Congress to be accountable for any renewals.
Support this 100 percent but even if it passes, have little faith in what it would accomplish. The overwhelming majority of Congress is just as hawkish as the WH, with most of its members favoring our open-ended foreign occupations.
