I read an article in the New York Times today by an establishment pundit who says he has a problem with the child tax credit because it doesn’t. come. with. any. work. requirements.

Did the Trump tax breaks come with a work requirement?

I've noticed that billionaires seem to think that everyone else should be doing back breaking work for $15 an hour plus paying taxes but somehow they seem to be able to evade both hard work and paying taxes. Why is this?

1996 called, it seems some really dumb political ideas escaped through the time portal and are on the loose here.

These are the people who think their wealth entitles them to the privilege of making decisions for others.

This brings to mind Blackstone's ratio of justice. Now, please allow me to introduce to you the 'Hamilton ratio of economic justice.' To wit: It is better that ten non-deserving individuals collect state aid w/out merit than that one innocent worker suffer and go w/out. 1)

We all know liberals will never work for anything. Some single guy is going to have to paint 2 houses a year to pay for it. These fucks don't care as it is not them. They got theirs.

The child tax credit allowed me to pay my electric bill, gas up my car, buy food, and take my kid out for ice cream. Without it I was going to have to pick one. There is no argument against the child tax credit. And yes, I work my fucking ass off, not that it should matter.
