Systemic economic injustice is an invisible prison; it houses many millions of people who are told that they are free yet who know that they are not.
You ain’t living in a free country when you can’t afford healthcare, housing, childcare & have to work until you drop dead because some damn billionaire pays you a starvation wage so he can take a taxpayer funded trip to outer space. That’s a lot of things, but it ain’t freedom.

There is no freedom, no civil-liberties, w/out economic justice... and every American enjoying a minimum standard of care. FDR knew this. #EconomicBillofRights #MedicareForAll #GreenNewDeal #LivingWage

Every progressive will turn into a career politician within 4 years of being elected. Taxes will never solve any issues since every politician from Cruz to Bernie to aoc is corrupt or about to be corrupt. Tax 99% of income or wealth. The people will never see that money

Unfortunately I think that’s the point. There seems to be an intense fascination among the powerful to keep people in chains — economically, figuratively and literally. Aye, “I know why the caged bird sings...”
