Criminalizing journalists for doing their job and keeping us informed of what is being done in our name by "our politicians", drives us ever closer to a complete totalitarian state.

NB: In this context, prosecuting New York Times and Washington Post reporter is to be considered a bad thing.
Probably NY times and wapo are safe but actual journalists everywhere are in trouble.

Disagree. A reporter has an obligation not to disseminate classified material as a US citizen. As a foriegn national you are subject to other laws. And newspapers should contact relevant authorities to disclose and redact information as necessary to protect national security.

The one thing that would prevent NYTimes or WaPo from being prosecuted is those outlets' obsequiousness to those in power. That's why they aren't acting very concerned.
