On climate: are we making progress? To some extent, yes. On poverty: are we making progress? To some extent, yes. On racial justice: are we making progress? To some extent, yes. But we’re moving too slowly, too incrementally, desperately close to the brink of too little too late.

It is my understanding that we’re already past the climate tipping points. What we need is equitable adaptation while working towards the 2050 goal. So it’s a two-pronged task.
