Our greatest natural resource is the brain of a child before the age of five. The most powerful thing we could do to turn America around over the next 20 years would be to massively front end our resources in the direction of prenatal and early childhood wellbeing and education.

They make no money for Oligarchy so they have no value in our society. And how long can a society that doesn’t value it’s children last? Who’ve made it clear their future means nothing to a society so greed-crazed we can’t admit our own peril or address it in any way.

Most neglect and/or damage is done to a child at home. Changing the community and the zeitgeist of high risk areas It's the biggest bang for your buck. The efforts trying to fix these problems at school are wiped away like the shake of an Etch-a-Sketch.
