I love America and I think of myself as a patriotic person but for us to be telling Cuba how to do it right when we ourselves are in such a terrible mess is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. @mikepompeo @PressSec

No, but our govt is making a bigger deal about protests in Cuba then they are about what Saudi Arabia is doing in Yemen.

Of course it is. Cuba is just 90 miles away, and hundreds of thousands of Cuban Americans demand that we make a "big deal" out of their fellow Cubans cry for liberty and freedom. We owe them that, at the very least.
Cuba is in our Backyard! We have huge populations of Cubans here that has fled the Communist Regime in power there for the past 60 yrs. Who STILL arrive here by boat. So democracy for oppressed people is only a concern when its aligns with your political agenda?

And a bigger deal over protests in Cuba than Hong Kong, then USA summer of 2020

Well… Cuba has lived in a dictatorship for more than 60 years… Almost any democracy/republic of representatives could tell how to do better in a way. What Saudi Arabia is doing in Yemen has nothing to do to what is happening in Cuba. Completely different topics.
