I love America and I think of myself as a patriotic person but for us to be telling Cuba how to do it right when we ourselves are in such a terrible mess is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. @mikepompeo @PressSec

The sad truth with Cuba is that most of the country's woes and suffering are the intentional result of the USAmerican embargo. It amounts to ongoing torture of the Cuban people. The USA has no right to even speak about Cuba.

"Terrible mess," when this is 'heaven.' 😔
I don't have a TV and don't watch corporate media, but something tells me by the look of such tweets that the US is seriously considering going to war with Cuba. Fabricating lies, again not acknowledging the devastation of US sanctions. How grotesque!
USA has a sketchy track record of foreign intervention to say the least. Count yourself lucky… At least you’re not in the U.K. We’ve properly buggered up our country!

Normally I agree but we’re all sick of seeing the Cuban people starve and suffer. Sometimes life is better under the Borg. Let them be absorbed already and we’ll deal later.
Totally ridiculous. And we've been trying to cripple them with sanctions for over 60 years. What an awesome, resilient nation!
Are you kidding? Their country is a museum

Having America as my home country is like having a child in prison for a ghastly crime. I would love my child regardless, but I'd be highly ashamed of their actions.

Drawing a moral equivalence between the US and Cuba is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard.

What a disrespectful and privileged thing to say.
