America hit the vaccine lottery. If another country had developed the vaccine first instead of American based companies. The USA would be in more crisis like other countries. Other countries are in crisis because we needed to vaccinate Americans first then distribute the vaccine

Qualifying with "I love America and I think of myself as a patriotic person but..." is unnecessary. It's preemptively apologising to the disingenuous hacks who would attack as unpatriotic any criticiasm of the US which they happen not to like. Don't bother!
