The fact that she was only allowed a court appointed lawyer for over a decade is so outrageous. Spears was abused not only by her father but by the entire conservatorship system. I hope her case coming to light will free others from this barbaric hell.

Most people w/ bipolar disorder are not forced to have conservators, and many are much more low functioning than Britney. But they don’t have $millions to blow impulsively. Somebody was more concerned about the money.
