.@POTUS mentioned today the problem of corporate monopolies in Big Ag, Big Tech & Big Pharma. Some will choose to be cynical - obviously so much more is needed - but no president has talked that way in many, many decades and that of itself is a really big deal.

To control the narrative. Been told the way the wind is blowing so getting ahead of it to gain trust to maintain control. It’s a big deal only in that he/they do see clearly what the true evil is but will use that info only for own gain. That’s cynicism or realism. We shall see.

It's not that I'm being cynical, I'm just not that impressed by a president doing the bare minimum for the first time in 40 years. My reaction is "Yes, and...?". Give him too many "attaboy"s and he'll think it's ok to stop there.

Happy to see Marianne focusing on the positive!
Did he talk about big banks? Just buy Bitcoin.

Cool… Just like he mentioned ending for profit detention centers or a public option or banning “assault weapons” or 12 weeks of family medical leave or a public option or forgiving student loan debt or expanding social security benefits or eliminate private $ from elections, etc
No, Joe is doing big phrama dirtywork by intimidating the public into getting vaccines. if you do not comply you will be scorned and forced to wear masks. I totally disagree with you here and think you are missing something huge.
What's cynical is the gaslighting and lies. When Biden starts delivering on campaign promises other than "nothing will fundamentally change" I'll listen.

I'm glad to see Big Ag tops the list.
Shame the bar is so low that a mere mentioning is considered a big deal. He mentions lots of things that he promised his billionaire donors wouldn’t fundamentally change under his presidency.
