1/ Voter nullification laws as well as voter suppression laws are popping up all over the country. I wonder how many Americans have stopped to consider what it means that sitting lawmakers all over America are doing what they can to cancel free elections.

2/ The locus of activism needs to shift to the statehouses now, state legislatures having shifted from “laboratories of reform” to “den of thieves.” And what they’re stealing is our democracy. It’s not enough to protest; good people need to run for local & state office in droves.

We don’t have a democracy. We learned that at least as far back as 2016, when the party you run cover for illegally purged its own voters from the New York voting rolls.

very true. The national D party has failed in the states for the most part in recent years. This needs to change: - fund state parties - get them to focus on winning statewide, not just protecting a few insiders - Study how to win in states, polls, etc - win more elections

Exactly! The reason our civil war goes on is bc the leaders of the vanquished South never actually surrendered. They went back & terrorized certain fellow Americans while masterfully infiltrating elected offices from sheriffs to Senators. Our only hope is to VOTE good people in.
