If progressives in Congress aren’t standing up for the likes of Julian Assange and @SDonziger then I’m not sure why they’re called progressives. If freedom of the press & the ability of corporations to prosecute private individuals doesn’t get you riled up then why are you there?

Can you now see how delusional “push him left” was when you haven’t even got your so called Progressives to lift a finger for you…
some of your followers are real dickbags about Assange, Williamson. Let’s recap: 1) ginned up rape charges, long ago dropped, and the complainant dropped the charges almost right away. The Swedish prosecutors kept it going anyway for several years. 2) ginned up hacking 1/2

If you don't stand up to corporations limiting progressive messages 2 tiny internet audiences who are then Jimmy vs Cenked, while permitting Every 11th Grader In US History to be WhiteBillionaireSplained a political Spectrum btw Chuck Schumer 'N Trump, I'm sure why you're blue✅
Replying to @marwilliamson
I can’t say what the issue with not standing up for @SDonziger is. But with Assange there would be internal backlash in the left community. So optics. Personally I think we have to stand up for what Assange represents and not the person themselves. It’s sad.

Call them out by name. Make them feel the pressure from their left. Or primary them too…

For some people, "progressive" is a portmanteau of "profiting aggressively"

Marianne- welcome to the big switcheroo. The liberals and progressives are pushing suppression & medical fascism while the “conservatives” are pushing freedom of speech and individual rights. No sides anymore, just the honest or dishonest, fearless or compliant.
All the “progressives” I know seem to be quite fond of censorship.
"Progressive" means "Communist." Why would a Commie want to set free a man who violated their basic belief in their right to rule over the masses, through violence, secrecy, lies, and propaganda? Stick to woo-woo.
