If progressives in Congress aren’t standing up for the likes of Julian Assange and @SDonziger then I’m not sure why they’re called progressives. If freedom of the press & the ability of corporations to prosecute private individuals doesn’t get you riled up then why are you there?

Yes, but the issues are very similar and we shouldn’t lose sight of that. Those who challenge the right of huge corporate interests to do whatever they want to whenever they want to will be severely punished.

Look to and how things were done to Assange is wrong, but don't put up as such a hero, I don't trust him and ever will even though he is Australia as I am, and there is more to the story, don't like how things were done but don't like the man.

Marianne, progressive movement was a front. Much more to the story. HUGE changes for the better coming fast. Happy to tell you more.
It would have been useful if you had these takes when needed, ie when Biden was running for President. You endorsed him anyway knowing full well he’s a right wing fascist.
They need to be asked directly. They have accounts. And every reply to your tweet will also go to them. You can’t put pressure on someone if you don’t put pressure on them.

Regarding Julian Assange, many on the right and left agree. Uphold the principles of our Republic. His imprisonment is unconstitutional.

Last night at Steve Donziger's vigil ... both NY Politicians and the NY Main Stream Press were clearly missing!
