A billionaire I know once told me “My taxes are so low it’s obscene.” There should be a #WealthTax of 2% on assets over $50M & and an additional 1% on assets over $1B. Our government’s groveling at the feet of the ultra rich is the surrender of our democracy to oligarchic rule.

Then don't keep supporting the oligarchy. You seem like a fraud.

$10m x .1% = $10k $20m x .2% = $40k $50m x .3% = $150k $100m x .5% = $500k $200m x .6% = $1.2m $500m x .7% = $3.5m $750m x .8% = $6m $1B x .9% = $9m $2B x 1% = $20m $5B x 1.1% = $55m $10B x 1.2% = $120m $20B x 1.3% = $260m $50B x 1.4% = $700m $100B x 1.5% = $1.5B

Your friend could have paid more. So many rich liberals say this all the time but run the others way when they see this. treasurydirect.gov/govt/repo…

When an over whelming number of laws are passed to serve the rich and their corporatizations, we are at an oligarchy. Princeton says so as of now: scholar.princeton.edu/sites/…

#USWEALTHCARE System is so deeply entrenched, it is difficult to imagine any such shift.

What you mean to say is "a parasite I know". Boasting about knowing a capitalist parasite is a bad look, no?

25% on all income after 100k. For everyone. No exemptions. Case solved.

3% on assets over $1 BILLION... How will they ever cope, LOL.
Neither of those percentages your friend recommended would barely touch their wealth bottom line. All it would do is provide the #WealthClass the ability to claim they were paying more in taxes, all while their wealth continued to grow.
