A billionaire I know once told me “My taxes are so low it’s obscene.” There should be a #WealthTax of 2% on assets over $50M & and an additional 1% on assets over $1B. Our government’s groveling at the feet of the ultra rich is the surrender of our democracy to oligarchic rule.

There should be a tax of 100% on all assets beyond $1 billion, but I'd settle for confiscating all the blood money the billionaires bilked from us over the pandemic.

I’m really tired of these stories of billionaires saying they don’t pay enough in taxes. If they really felt that way, there’s nothing stopping them from paying more. But they don’t. It’s just a psyop on the unwashed masses.
