You can have respect for the US military and still have contempt for the profit-making goals of Raytheon, Northrop Grumman and Boeing. It is they who misuse and exploit the military for their own purposes, promoting and fostering a permanent war machine.

I respect individuals, but not militaries or militarism. It's unfortunate we have a corrupt system which brainwashes young people to kill others they don't know in different countries. To me this is just sinister, and we should stop glorifying the military since it feeds into it
