With SCOTUS striking down last remaining vestiges of Voting Rights Act, a major pillar of our democracy has fallen away. This means Congress just became that much more important as a counterbalance. As exhausting as it is we need to start preparing ourselves now for the midterms.

If by “prepare” you mean “brace ourselves for blowout losses”, then yes.

That’s not what I meant at all. I mean put your cynicism to the side and work like hell to make sure the Republicans do not control of the House and Senate after next year’s elections.

Why bother? So I can continue to keep doing my part while the Dems refuse to hold up their end of the bargain? How many times am I supposed to get burned before I give up? Are we to continue this farce indefinitely?

And I will work like hell to get people to never vote for another democrat again EVER. I'm so tired of the shallow racism the democrat platform relies on. We minorities don't need government help. And we don't need to pay gov't for them to turn around & fund illegal aliens.
