With SCOTUS striking down last remaining vestiges of Voting Rights Act, a major pillar of our democracy has fallen away. This means Congress just became that much more important as a counterbalance. As exhausting as it is we need to start preparing ourselves now for the midterms.

So we have an appointed SCOTUS who can overturn the decisions of an elected congress. Do I understand this correctly?
