If kids are required to go to school they should get a basic lunch for free and not have to jump through hoops or have the stigma of being called poor. Hope other states follow suit. We can afford it when we pay more per-inmate than per-student nbclosangeles.com/news/local…

Kids should be allowed the resources 4 such care at home. A child without backup is easily bullied. Home cooking provides cultural & personality support. A steady home, makes a steady world worth discovering, to a child, worth saving from destruction, worthy of sharing its love.

But it should be delicious and healthy. Too many kids at my son's public school simply don't eat because the food is so gross. And that's not acceptable either.
