I'm 62yrs old, I learned about the damage we are doing in high school yet we have only given lip service to the problem.
Most of my life I've tried to keep the environment in mind.
I used public transit and currently don't drive.
Yet we have unneeded plastic bottles and bags.

But we didn't, we are not trying seriously enough now.
It's very simple stop buying bottled water if you must have it but the ones in boxes individual 16oz boxed water.
Don't use plastic bags.
Immediately get rid of your car.
The power of the purse can force change.
Yet we don't.
Yes they do even living paycheck to paycheck.
Don't by water in bottles, don't drive unless absolutely necessary.
Don't by the latest cell phone.
Don't use plastic bags for groceries.
Then buy the water by the 2gallon jug or larger.
There is boxed water packaged like milk or juice I agree it's too expensive.
The manufacturers aren't going to do anything as long as they are allowed to get the water they put in bottles for free.
We have to do it.

Absolutely. The monopolistic corporatization of agriculture and food production has not only harmed farmers, it has harmed the earth and it has harmed our bodies.
