I agree ... I just experienced a heat wave in Massachusetts that went up to 100 degrees ... we need to take action ... and trying to get the Republicans involved is like trying to run a race carrying a hundred pound weight! Lets elect more good people and get this done ourselves!

We need to avoid histrionics. Heat waves aren't new, nor are hurricanes. All scientific claims are subject to falsifiability. The dire warnings of the 90's are falsified demonstrably. According to NASA, avg surface temp of the earth has risen from 287 d Kelvin to 288 d since 1880

I understand the concern, but the politics of 'climate change' needs to be addressed in a sober way, not with panic or hyperbole. The predictions of the 1990's are all demonstrably proven false. People have died in heat waves and droughts throughout history.
