I do hope you're learning the obvious lesson here, @marwilliamson. Imperialists have been pushing an agenda in Hong Kong and you are actively facilitating that agenda when you boost their narratives.

Replying to @caitoz
So you think the Chinese Communist Party are the good guys there, and the protestors are just shills for the imperialists? Hardly the "obvious lesson."

Fuck yes, the Communist Party of China are the good guys. Also: color revolutions have been the method for achieving regime change.

Which ideological HQ are you talking about? There's two, you know. Ever heard of the two-line struggle? China is mastering itself with it. You can stand with one or the other. Regarding world peace, how many military bases does China have outside its borders? How many have we?

With respect Marianne, it's not about CCP being "good guys". The question is whether we have a right to intervene in another nation state's affairs? If we really believe in democracy, we should respect their right to self determination.

The Empire murders over 1k of its own people every year. And throws 1ks more in a cage. Denies millions of citizens Healthcare, dental care, and education. Take care of your own backyard first.

BLM and 1/6 were both protests that happened in the US over the last year but I'm sure you asses them very differently. The US state department has a long history of supporting right wing coups and calling them pro-democracy protests.

Marianne the protest groups were funded by U.S NED (a CIA front) that taught them how to protest efficiently and cause chaos, and then the leaders of the protest group met with Pompeo and Bolton. All over a law to prevent murderers walking free!
