No. Huge corporate entities lobbying for tax breaks and deregulation aren’t even claiming they’re trying to do the right thing; they’re claiming that to increase revenue for their shareholders is their sole responsibility.

I agree with you there, but I don't see how that relates to your point about the morality of voters/constituency. I think that's an issue of policymakers prioritizing corporations over their constituents.
