The Founders debated the filibuster and decided against it for good reason. It isn’t foundational to the way the Senate operates; it’s a relic of the Jim Crow era. You can’t keep asking people to vote for you if all you do is give them excuses every damn time. @TheDemocrats

The Senate was an legislative chamber whose members were chosen by state legislature appointment, not democratic vote. It is not comparable to the nature of today's Senate

Very comparable. How the senators got there is not relevant to the filibuster question.

Marianne, the founders are relics of the Jim Crow era

The good democrats are building public pressure the best they can. Including Obama, Biden etc.

A relic of the Jim Crow era, that Democrats used 327 times last year, and 33 Democrats signed a letter to preserve. That Jim Crow relic.
They have been doing things other then what they say for generations now. We should stop voting for non workers.

They don’t care whether people vote for them or not, they get that donor money either way. The Democratic Party exists to serve the wealthy. Continuing to push the idea that Dems care one bit about normal people is making things worse, not better.
Your party believes the founders are all racist male chauvinists so you aren’t allowed to use their genius foresight as an argument anymore.
I’m going to give them at least 6 months to try. At least they can say they did, then they got to move! I do understand the hestitancy. I don’t want to think of what happens why Republicans get it..
