As we mark #WorldRefugeeDay, I am reminded of my family’s own history fleeing violence, conflict, and persecution. My great-grandfather fled pogroms in Eastern Europe, my stepmother fled Communism, and my late stepfather survived the Holocaust. I stand #withrefugees.
