Listening to politicians talk on Sun. shows today we were repeatedly told “what the American people want!” They didn’t say health care; clean water, food or air; or a peaceful world. Apparently the average American says “I want bipartisanship! I want my partisanship!” Ridiculous.

Just so it's out there - I don't give a single solitary fuck about bipartisanship. I want universal healthcare, clean water, food, air, housing, education, infrastructure. Do not give a fuck who does it, it just needs to get done.

Ultimately very few people in this country watch those shows anymore. The vast majority are not engaged in "politics" at all and are just trying to survive American politicians greed and corruption in our own lives. How do we reach out to them in creative caring ways?
