Listening to politicians talk on Sun. shows today we were repeatedly told “what the American people want!” They didn’t say health care; clean water, food or air; or a peaceful world. Apparently the average American says “I want bipartisanship! I want my partisanship!” Ridiculous.

As long as Citizens United stands, all viable political parties are going to put the interests of big donors ahead of everything else. It’s the oligarchs demanding “bipartisanship” while the common people are slowly squeezed to death. They are parasites.

The whole concept of bipartisanship is flawed. These are not altruistic people. You don't get re-elected by helping the other party do great things for people. The goal of each party is to stop the other party from accomplishing anything. And also, they all work for the donors.
