Each of these things seems so obvious, yet on each one of them we’re having to struggle to make it happen. Realizing of how off course we are well hopefully propel us to change direction.

This is the off course though. We shouldn’t try to give people what they need, we just need to stop preventing them from being able to figure out where to get it themselves.

What a fantasyland version of reality though! The system as it is now prevents too many people from being able to get it for themselves. A child not taught read by 8 is set up for failure. No individual can purify the toxic water & food supply. Or working 40 hrs a wk on min wage?

So we should fund students instead of systems and give every child a chance to pursue an education that fits their needs. Lots of people find clean water and food, and it’d be easier if we stopped incentivizing and pardoning pollution. Same with regulating property and work.

We don’t disagree on the solutions, but your perception of the problems vastly underestimates their severity.
