1/ 600,000 people have died of Covid in America, which is deeply tragic. But it should also be noted that the same amount of people die of cancer in America every year.

2/ Yet cancer statistics don’t get a fraction of the attention Covid statistics have gotten, and for a reason. Food & chemical companies, Big Ag and all environmental polluters should be held accountable for the massive amounts of carcinogens in our food, air, water & pesticides.

3/ Both government and mass media are under the undue influence of massive industries that literally poison our air, food and water on a consistent basis.

4/ We should be talking about more than just healthcare; we should be talking about why there’s so much chronic illness in the USA compared to other countries. Until we get the money out of politics & break up corporate monopolies that control the media, none of this will change

Is cancer contagious? Does it spread via airborne respiratory droplets? Your comparison doesn't make sense / isn't useful unless both of these are true.

if you could spread cancer by coughing on people, it might get a little more attention.

Jfc what the hell are you talking about? Cancer research draws $6bn a year in donations and has been for decades. Not a fraction of the attention my ass. The whole concept of "colored ribbon for a cause" is from breast cancer.

You and I both know it is too late and those same companies you brought up are the ones that bought our ticket to hell 30 years before I was even breathing air. They’ll never allow us to pay close enough attention.

Right because cancer isn't a communicable disease.

You’re absolutely right. Up until now I’d never even heard of…cancer.

Can you think of any public figures who have taken the evidently unpopular stance that cancer is something worth our attention?
