1/ 600,000 people have died of Covid in America, which is deeply tragic. But it should also be noted that the same amount of people die of cancer in America every year.

2/ Yet cancer statistics don’t get a fraction of the attention Covid statistics have gotten, and for a reason. Food & chemical companies, Big Ag and all environmental polluters should be held accountable for the massive amounts of carcinogens in our food, air, water & pesticides.

3/ Both government and mass media are under the undue influence of massive industries that literally poison our air, food and water on a consistent basis.

4/ We should be talking about more than just healthcare; we should be talking about why there’s so much chronic illness in the USA compared to other countries. Until we get the money out of politics & break up corporate monopolies that control the media, none of this will change

Cancer gets *tons* of advertisement, charity events, hell, pro sports leagues bring attention to it often. Especially breast cancer. However, as the husband of a cancer survivor, I never once worried about catching it from her.

Right, and we can get vaccinated and stop the pandemic now..doesn’t mean we forgot about cancer and how import cancer research is for us. We can’t vaccinate from cancer. But we can be, and are, focused on both. We’re capable of that. This is not a salient point you are making.

That's amazing if true. Wow, it really illustrates how bad Covid has been.

Tons of $$$ gets put into cancer research, there's countless walks and fundraising events, cancer even has a whole month where everyone wears pink. Cancer gets attention, it just isn't always number one in the media right now.

And about 60,000 Americans die a year because of insurance lack. Might as well add that to the list of tragedies which, in this case, could easily be avoided if our politicians weren't owned by the health insurance lobby.

It seems people with real vision see so far ahead that nobody believes them. Many that do believe don’t know where to begin. A mountain of sand can be moved one grain at a time.✌️🙏

9MM ppl around the world die of hunger each year. Despite the fact that US shamefully LEADS world in amt of food thrown away each year, u CANNOT find the # of ppl here who die of hunger. Why is that? Why r ppl dying of hunger when there's more than enough?

It's because cancer has always been with us, there are hundreds of different cancers, each unique. Covid was new and *added* to what we have always had. And I've heard about cancer my whole life. Billions are spent every year researching and fighting it.

And as we all know, we consider cancer to be no big deal in the US. (Also: cancer isn't contagious if you are looking for a comparative variable of significance).
