1/ 600,000 people have died of Covid in America, which is deeply tragic. But it should also be noted that the same amount of people die of cancer in America every year.

2/ Yet cancer statistics don’t get a fraction of the attention Covid statistics have gotten, and for a reason. Food & chemical companies, Big Ag and all environmental polluters should be held accountable for the massive amounts of carcinogens in our food, air, water & pesticides.

3/ Both government and mass media are under the undue influence of massive industries that literally poison our air, food and water on a consistent basis.

4/ We should be talking about more than just healthcare; we should be talking about why there’s so much chronic illness in the USA compared to other countries. Until we get the money out of politics & break up corporate monopolies that control the media, none of this will change

You are a MORON. Covid is INFECTIOUS. BREATHING on each other spreads it. THAT is why it "gets attention." Go away and do some macrame or something.

there were so many better ways to frame this argument than by trivializing covid deaths

Also keep in mind the average age of "covid death" was 80, which is life expectancy. These folks also had an average of 2 other serious conditions. Yes it is sad. Context is important and the media did a horrible job at keeping things in perspective.

Cancer is not contagious.
2
Cancer isn’t highly contagious causing a public health crisis. You can’t compare the two.

Your comment on cancer is not the parity you think it is. Cancer is an umbrella term, like virus. Not a specific condition term, like Covid19
