Regarding suspected crimes of Trump’s AG Bill Barr, It’s good to remember Nixon’s AG John Mitchell served 19 months in prison for his role in the Watergate scandal - and so did a few other Nixon aides. Justice must be committed to and pursued now too. #TrumpGate

Poor comparison. The Watergate situation was the unveiling of corrupt governmental practices that were abused by all parties on all levels. This just happened to be the first publicly. In this era of a surveillance society, the novelty of what Water Gate once was is long removed.

I struggle w trying to reconcile being positive w what I believe to be the reality of where our country is now. Americans seemed to care in a good faith way about right & wrong that I don't see as much today. 45's popularity changed my view of America having a moral compass.

The AG of this other corrupt POTUS went to jail, so maybe Barr should? How about we determine whether or not Barr should be prosecuted based on evidence, or lack thereof, that suggests he may have committed a specific crime.

Here, I'll help you out. It's a transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government. He's a career criminal who is apathetic to American death and he's surrounded by operatives skilled at kleptocratic theft. You and your colleagues should have expected and prevented this.

There was nothing extraordinary about Nixon’s crimes but the Powers That Be decided he should be taken down as he no longer served their purposes. And ever since, the junkyard dogs he was thrown to have been howling about how they saved our democracy.
